Due to an upgrade to a larger 35ft offshore yacht, I am selling my sailboat project, Queen Thiras (Queen of Santorini). This is a solid German classic from the NauticPlast shipyard (Hai 750 model), perfect for both lake and coastal cruising. The boat is currently stripped and prepared for the final stage of restoration – ideal for someone who wants to finish a boat to his own standards and have 100% certainty of the hull's condition.
⚓ Technical Specifications: Length: 7.5 m | Beam: 2.5 m | Draft: approx. 0.6 – 1.1 m (Swing keel) Displacement: 1.6 t Headroom: Unique retractable roof – headroom in the saloon is 140–180 cm. Material: GRP (solid fiberglass construction).
✅ Work Already Completed: Hull: Completely stripped and sanded (ready for priming and the final topcoat). Keel: Centerboard case and the centerboard itself have been refurbished, treated with epoxy primer, and finished with new antifouling. Ballast: Original iron ballast has been replaced with Lead (480 kg) – providing significantly better stability and zero corrosion issues! Stern: New engine mount and bathing platform installed.
⚓ Included in the Sale: - Trailer: Harbeck BT1700AL aluminum trailer (CZ registration/license plate, valid technical inspection from 2026). - Full Rigging: Mast, boom, stainless steel standing rigging, Mainsail + Genoa. - New & Unused Equipment: Raymarine Bidata i40 (Speed/Depth) instrument, Maestrini Bronze through-hulls and seacocks, Electric and manual bilge pumps, Vevor linear motor for the roof, Some electrical components (Busbars, power switches, etc.). - Propulsion: Acumot 800W electric motor (originally from Lake Neusiedl, state unknown, if used batteries need replacement) + prepared for a petrol outboard on the stern platform. - Other: Kitchenette, original cushions (perfect as templates for new ones), guardrails, and all original hardware.
✅ Remaining Tasks: - Final painting of the hull and deck (painting materials – 2k primer, topcoat, antifouling, and anti-slip deck paint – can be included by agreement). - Installation of new electrical and water systems. - Re-assembly of deck hardware and interior fittings.
Documentation: Austrian measurement report (Vermessungschein 1986) and official statement of non-registration requirement in Austria.
Reason for Selling: I have moved on to a larger vessel and no longer have the time to finish this project. Queen Thiras is a healthy, dry boat with great potential. It is currently stored in a dry workshop.
