Bemerkung

2000 Westerly Oceanlord 41 “Golden Eye of Chichester” | Proven Bluewater Cruiser
The Westerly Oceanlord 41 is renowned for combining serious offshore capability with comfortable liveaboard cruising, and Golden Eye of Chichester is an exceptional example. Commissioned in late 1999 and launched in 2000, she was the final Oceanlord completed entirely by Westerly and has proven her pedigree with a World ARC circumnavigation and Atlantic circuit.

Built with a hand-laminated GRP hull, fin keel and spade rudder, she benefits from Coppercoat antifouling (2019) with the keel and rudder professionally sandblasted, treated and re-coppercoated in 2026. Her deep protected cockpit, wide side decks, synthetic EliteTeak decking (2019), bow thruster, electric windlass and comprehensive sail wardrobe make her ideal for short-handed passagemaking.

Powered by a regularly serviced 56hp Yanmar 4JH3E diesel with Brunton Autoprop (2024), she is extensively upgraded for modern cruising. Recent investments include Raymarine Axiom2 Pro navigation suite with Quantum radar (2024), Victron lithium battery system, inverter and solar charging upgrades, plus AIS transponder and VHF updates in 2025.

Below deck, the Oceanlord’s sought-after two-cabin, two-heads layout offers excellent comfort for extended cruising. Rich original timber joinery, heating, a spacious galley, large aft owner’s cabin and generous storage throughout create a practical and welcoming liveaboard environment.

Lying Kalamata, Greece. EU VAT Paid and UK Part 1 Registered. A rare opportunity to acquire a proven offshore cruiser equipped and ready for her next adventure.

The condition or level of safety equipment on board is not to be negotiated on following survey. It is likely to be listed by most surveyors but is not structural or an integral working part of the vessel and is not to be used to further negotiate the price down after survey. We strongly suggest that for your own personal safety that when purchasing a yacht you provide new safety equipment rather than relying on second hand gear.

Should you become the new owner of this yacht then the responsibility to re-register or update official bodies for items such as EPIRB, VHF, MMSI or AIS becomes yours.
