Catalina 28 from 1991, Spanish flagged and Lista 7ª. A comfortable and easy-to-handle cruising sailboat, well known for her practical layout and good interior space for her size.
Purchased by the current owner in 2021, when most of the main upgrades were carried out, this boat has also continued to receive further improvements in recent years. She keeps her original Universal 18 hp engine and benefits from regular annual maintenance, including antifouling, engine service and general upkeep.
Upgrades carried out in 2021 include Raymarine wind equipment and bidata, VHF with DSC, electric anchor windlass, anchor with 30 metres of chain, battened mainsail with 1 reef, lazy jack-bag system, headsail furler, rigid boom vang, renewal of part of the running rigging, and replacement of forestay and backstay.
The hull also received a preventive osmosis treatment.
Inside, she offers renewed interior and exterior upholstery, one bathroom with electric toilet, black water tank, and washbasin/shower. More recently, in 2025, the engine control lever and cable were replaced, and this year the upholstery in the aft berth was renewed.
