Fidget is a Bowman 36, a long-keeled, Bermuda-rigged offshore cruising yacht renowned for her sea-kindly performance and comfortable motion at sea. Built to a particularly high specification for the owner of Chiswell Marine, she features a beautifully finished teak interior and a practical layout suited to extended cruising.
The boat has been well maintained and continuously upgraded by her recent owners, with significant improvements to rigging, electrics, deck gear and onboard systems over the past several years.
Accommodation is arranged with two saloon settee berths, a pilot berth and a quarter berth adjacent to the chart table. The forepeak offers a comfortable V-berth with sprung interior mattresses. A heads compartment with basin and shower is located between the saloon and forecabin, with generous hanging storage opposite.
The galley is equipped with a gimballed gas cooker and oven, double sink and fridge with ice box. Heating is provided by an Eberspacher system with three outlets for comfortable cruising in cooler conditions.
Designed for short-handed sailing, all running rigging is led aft to the cockpit. The yacht carries a fully battened mainsail with lazy jacks and single-line reefing, two furling genoas including one set on an inner forestay, plus a cruising chute. Wheel steering is fitted, with a tiller also available.
A reliable Mercedes diesel engine, large fuel and water capacity, bow thruster and a comprehensive Raymarine navigation suite make Fidget a capable and well-equipped offshore cruising yacht.

Safety lines and jackstaysThe condition or level of safety equipment on board is not to be negotiated on following survey. It is likely to be listed by most surveyors but is not structural or an integral working part of the vessel and is not to be used to further negotiate the price down after survey. We strongly suggest that for your own personal safety that when purchasing a yacht you provide new safety equipment rather than relying on second hand gear.
Should you become the new owner of this yacht then the responsibility to re-register or update official bodies for items such as EPIRB, VHF, MMSI or AIS becomes yours.
