Nota
The Apache 41 is a rare and highly reliable cruising catamaran from 1975, designed by Rod McAlpine Downie and built by Sailcraft Ltd. (only around 20 were ever produced). This vessel has always been privately owned, never chartered, and is in excellent technical condition. In 2017, the underwater hull was professionally sandblasted, treated with tar epoxy, and coated with new antifouling; annual maintenance has been carried out consistently. The boat has been fully optimized for single‑handed sailing, with all lines, reefing systems, and anchoring operations led back to the cockpit. The original central engine has been replaced with twin saildrives, providing outstanding maneuverability. Bridge‑deck clearance ranges from 60 to 90 cm. The owner uses the boat only three months per year, keeping her safely stored ashore for the remainder of the season. The catamaran is currently (4-'26) stored on land in Greece and ready for viewing.
