The Yacht of the Year 2023 in the multihull category is the Nautitech 44 Open ( here in the YACHT test ). Continuing the successful concept, the French are now presenting the 48 Open as the new catamaran flagship. Nautitech utilises the extra hull length for even more living comfort in the hulls with up to four cabins and four heads compartments.

Aventura Catamarans in France presents its new flagship model, a completely new development by designer Samer Lasta. The boat surprises with many expansion options, from three to six cabins and a maximum of four wet cells. This variance is a first for this length class.

The British brand is known for its very solidly built, voluminous blue water catamarans. On Broadblue catamarans, the cockpit and steering position are raised aft on one level and the rig is positioned very far aft in favour of a large self-tacking jib, as is the case with the new 425.

Mavea Yachts, based in Eschborn near Frankfurt, has big plans. The range of luxurious Slyder-branded catamarans is now to be rounded off with a new, large vessel. The layout on deck is exciting, with two completely separate helm stations at the sides.

The performance potential of Gunboat's exclusive carbon fibre cats is legendary. Now the French have modified their 68. The extremely slim hulls with centreboards are now slightly longer and the rig is positioned much further back on the coachroof for even more power.
