She is the smallest ship in the exclusive line from Southampton, but still over 15 metres long. The Oyster 495 will be making its European debut at the trade fair in Neustadt. As the successor to the Oyster 475, the new entry-level model comes with a whole series of significant innovations. The high centre cockpit now has two helm stations and remains open to the aft. The layout of the centre cockpit yacht features a large master cabin with en-suite bathroom aft. There is a further double cabin with toilet room in the foredeck.
More attractive fun machine than comfortable motorhome: the Saffier SE 33 is a fast-sailing, well-built and well-equipped weekender. For this, the Dutchwoman was honoured with the award for European Yacht of the Year 2022 in the category of special boats. Those who wish to spend the night on board can do so. Despite the limited space, the interior is surprisingly cosy (test YACHT 24/2021). The Saffier SE 27 Leisure, SC 8m Cabin and SC 650 Cruise models are also on display.
Strong performance under sail, exciting looks, outstanding quality. The smallest boat in the exclusive Solaris Yachts programme in Italy is a successful package. The design by Javier Soto Acebal comes with two rudder blades and a comparatively high, sporty rig with a self-tacking jib. Simple, straightforward and unadorned structures dominate below deck. Three cabins and two toilet rooms are standard. The Solaris 40 (YACHT 19/2021 test) will be presented as a novelty at the Yacht Festival in Neustadt, where it will be moored side by side with the Solaris 44 and the Solaris 47.

The design is extravagant. Negative bow, wide flight deck above, huge hull windows, an electrically retractable bathing platform, an outer shell over the superstructure and an open interior from fore to aft with wet room: the package is polarising, as it should be. The Sunbeam 32.1 from Austria is designed as a weekender for the whole family and aims to be both a good sailor and a comfortable beach club. It is therefore somewhere between a daysailer and a pure cabin yacht. Around 35 units have already been sold.
A comprehensive revision of the X 4.3 was announced (YACHT 17/2016 test). In reality, however, the latest model from X-Yachts under the same name was in fact a completely new development. The hull now has a very distinctive rear chine for greater dimensional stability. In return, the rig can now be slightly higher. A self-tacking jib is now also available. Below deck, there are essentially no visual changes. X-Yachts will also be showing the X 4.0 and the XC-50 in Neustadt.
Despite its impressive size, the boat is as simple as its name, in keeping with the shipyard's motto: reduce to the essentials without sacrificing comfort. The entry-level model from Michael Schmidt Yachtbau in Greifswald is a full-carbon performance cruiser with a lifting keel and two engines and is available on the market in a revised version. The lightweight boat delivers good performance and sailing fun even in light winds, which was a shipyard goal. The layout and the interior are customised according to the owner's wishes.
