The company Frisch from Munich now also has shoes from the British brand Wuzzos in its range. Two men's and one women's shoe are available. The Branklet model is a classic boat shoe made from waterproof leather. The sole is designed to offer good grip on deck thanks to its knife cut. Available for 130 euros in four different shades of brown and blue in sizes 39 to 46.

The Corinthian Pro boat shoe is touted as the company's modern design. Inserts made from mesh material are said to ensure greater breathability and a moulded footbed for improved comfort. Available in brown, blue and grey and in sizes 39 to 46, 140 euros.
Wuzzos produces the Whitaker model for women, a classic moccasin for use on board. Waterproof leather, corrosion-resistant eyelets and a white knife-cut sole promise high functionality. The Whitaker boat shoes are available in the colours Ice Blue, Navy and Tan (light brown) in sizes 36 to 41 for 120 euros.
The Regatta deck shoe from Dubarry scored highly in the test with its particularly grippy sole, which offered very good grip on teak decks, structured GRP and Treadmaster. It also had good drying behaviour and mesh inserts allowed fresh air to reach the foot. The sole profile absorbed very little dirt. Test winner in the men's shoe category. Price: 169 euros.
The test winner among the models for female sailors is the Racetrainer sailing shoes from Gill. They had the best grip on all materials. The sole also collected little dirt when going ashore and the shoes offered good drying behaviour. Large drainage holes in the sole. Price: 120 euros.
The Sunrise II model from Lizard scored well for grip on deck and an attractive price, making it the price-performance tip of the last test. Price: 70 euros.
