With the versatile new Milan 22, Neptun Yachts is breaking new ground in the under seven metre segment. The spacious cockpit is particularly striking. The daysailer with a new price of 27,800 euros is also suitable as a travelling dinghy and for sailing schools.
The Pointer appeals to the same target group as the new Milan 22, for example, but has a smaller cockpit and less storage space. The design comes with a double rudder system and a fully retractable swivelling keel. It is available from 51,250 euros.
The slightly smaller training and travelling dinghy offers simple sailing fun. Good weight trim is required with the light, retractable centreboard. Also available as a sportier version with a higher mast and gennaker. From 11,099 euros.
The classic among school and travelling dinghies, the pirate of the Netherlands, so to speak. The versatile dinghy with gaff rig was originally designed by van de Stadt and has since been redesigned many times. Available with a fixed or lifting keel from 21,500 euros.
The hull length of the Viko is comparable to the other boats on this list, but otherwise the concept is different: lots of living space in a small area. This makes the Viko S21, priced at 22,900 euros, a habitable small cruiser with a separate toilet room.
Amazingly similar in concept to the Milan 22, the Aira 22 sailed well and balanced in the test. Unfortunately, the Dutch shipyard proved to be struggling with delivery problems. In the meantime, the Aira, which was very reasonably priced in 2018, is no longer quite so affordable.
