Hanseyachts in Greifswald is celebrating the opening of a new showroom. The showroom will open its doors for the first time next weekend on Saturday 16 March (10 a.m. - 6 p.m.) and Sunday 17 March 2024 (10 a.m. - 3 p.m.). After that, interested parties can experience the shipyard's current models up close at any time by appointment.
Highlights at the opening are the two latest models, the Hanse 410 and 510. But also the Hanse 315, 348 and 388 and the Dehler 34 and Dehler 38 SQ will be on display. The Sealine C335 and Ryck 280 motor yachts will also be on display for visitors to marvel at. In addition to snacks and drinks, there will also be guided tours of the shipyard for interested parties on the opening weekend.
In future, various sailing yachts from Hanse, Moody and Dehler as well as the motor yacht brands Fjord, Sealine and Ryck will always be on display at the site in Greifswald. You will find it at Ladebower Chaussee 11, 17493 Greifswald.
Some of the major yacht and boat manufacturers have such showrooms. These are used both for sales and to showcase the latest models and designs. They give potential buyers the opportunity to view the various models in person and get a better idea of their size, amenities and build quality.
A showroom also offers the opportunity to make direct personal contact with the shipyard, which makes the purchasing process easier and more personalised. According to the Greifswald shipyard, Hanse also wanted to further strengthen the bond with its end customers. The idea for the showroom on the shipyard premises grew during the Corona period. It is the second of its kind after its showroom in Bernau am Chiemsee.

Editor Test & Technology
Growing up just a few metres from the shores of Lake Constance, Max Gasser found himself on board the family's 15 dinghy cruiser at an early age, which was later replaced by a 30 dinghy cruiser from 1932. In the meantime, Gasser had already achieved his first successes in the Opti and switched to the Laser as part of the Baden-Württemberg state squad. After graduating from high school, he realised a childhood dream by buying a foiling Moth, which he now lives out in a newer boat. After freelancing for a local water sports magazine, he completed an internship at YACHT, which led to his traineeship and then to a job as an editor in the Wastersports Digital editorial team. As a representative of Gen Z and foiling, he feels particularly at home in all areas of sporty sailing.
