Berth cushions from Matratzen Manufaktur from Sankt Andrä, located halfway between Lake Wörthersee and Graz, have already impressed twice in the YACHT test. The Austrians have now expanded their portfolio to include products for use on deck. And these also demonstrate the usual very high quality of workmanship.

The Flexima cockpit cushions come in two versions: as a simple seat cushion made of 40 millimetre high and pleasantly firm foam measuring 40 by 40 centimetres or in the same design for folding up, which makes leaning against the coaming more comfortable (see photo). The price: 35 or 70 euros per piece. In addition to navy blue and Bordeaux red, beige, light grey or anthracite are also available.

On 10 October, VOX showed the 7th episode of the current season of "Die Höhle der Löwen" - family entrepreneur Dagmar Wöhrl, financial entrepreneur Carsten Maschmeyer, retail professional Ralf Dümmel, green tech investor Nico Rosberg, CEO Nils Glagau, beauty expert Judith Williams and media mogul Georg Kofler are once again investing in start-ups this year. The German family business Tom Logisch was also there and presented the smallest certified fully biological mini sewage treatment plant for yachts and houseboats. The process in "enteron" is similar to that of an intestine and works with bacteria without the conventional addition of chemicals. The tank consists of three chambers and the wastewater is purified in many different stages. At the end of the process, according to the manufacturer, clean wastewater is produced that is below all limits and can therefore be safely discharged into the surrounding waters. The system costs from 10,000 euros, a smaller one is available for around 4,000 euros.
