The schedule for the decisive match for the "bottomless pitcher" has now been announced: The winner of the challengers will face the New Zealand defenders in a duel from 12 October after the end of the "Challenger Selection Series" (end of August/September). Including reserve days, the time window for the America's Cup showdown is open until 27 October. The second half of the 2024 sailing season promises breathless excitement and needs to be planned well in advance by fans. All of the venues - Marseille (Olympics), Barcelona (America's Cup) and Les Sables-d'Olonne (start and finish harbour of the Vendée Globe) - are likely to be in a state of sporting emergency.
