MFH -Emden and NAZ-Schepen merge to form the new TWN Yachting brand. The company unites the proven Tide, Wanderer and Noordkaper yachts under one roof.

The merger of MFH -Emden and NAZ-Schepen to form the new TWN Yachting brand aims to bring a breath of fresh air to the yacht market. The established yacht lines Tide, Wanderer and Noordkaper will be continued and expanded under the new name.

MFH wants to expand its product range

The small, fine Tide line from MFH -Emden will be retained. The Tide 25 (7.62 m), Tide 34 (10.36 m) and Tide 36 (10.97 m) models will continue to be offered. There are also plans to build a Tide 24 M motorboat, which will expand the portfolio upwards. The Tide sailing yachts are characterised by their individual design, high build quality and sporty sailing characteristics. The von-Ahlen design Tide 36 attracted a lot of attention at its market launch (complete test here, please click). The robust Wanderer and Noordkaper yachts from NAZ-Schepen will complement the range in future. The Wanderer 36 (10.97 m) and Wanderer 40 (12.19 m) will remain in the programme. A new Wanderer 45 (13.72 metres) is being planned and will add another larger, seaworthy yacht to the range. A revised version of the Wanderer 36, the W36 Azur, is also in preparation.

Bundled expertise in yacht building

In future, TWN Yachting will benefit from the many years of experience of both companies. MFH -Emden has been providing expertise in the processing of GRP and composites since 1997. In addition to the production of plastic parts for shipping and industry, the company specialises in the construction of yachts in small series and relies on innovative technologies such as vacuum infusion for the highest quality and durability. NAZ-Schepen has built over 150 yachts since 2004. This combination promises high-quality yachts with modern materials and proven concepts. In future, customers will benefit from the comprehensive service. TWN Yachting wants to cover a large value-added chain - from sales, production and fitting through to repairs, maintenance and winter storage. MFH-Emden will contribute its experience in the customisation of yachts, allowing customers a high degree of flexibility in the design of their boats, according to the shipyard.

Production sites and sales

The yachts are produced at two locations. The Tide models will continue to be manufactured at the MFH site in East Frisia, where state-of-the-art production facilities are available. The Wanderer and Noordkaper yachts will be built at the existing DTB shipyard in Turkey. Sales will be organised internationally, with a focus on the European market. The merger creates a broad-based yacht builder that offers a full range of services from sales to production, fitting, repairs, maintenance and winter storage from a single source.

Specific prices for the individual models have not yet been communicated. However, it can be assumed that they will be in the upper segment. The availability of existing models is expected to remain unchanged. No market launch dates have yet been announced for new models such as the Wanderer 45, the revised W36 Azur and the Tide 24 M.
