With a width of 3.75 metres, the new boat from Lunderskov is also relatively narrow, and the design has a high aspect ratio of 3.5. Other modern designs now achieve values of around 3. The new boat is also typically Faurby in other respects. The lines are moderate and harmonious, there are no chines or other hard edges, and the volume in the foredeck is also orientated towards timeless familiarity.
The hull has a slight positive deck projection, the cabin roof is flat and fitted with frameless windows. The boat is also characterised by a large cockpit and double wheels like on the larger 460. The three-sailed mast from Seldén stands on the keel; a carbon version is available as an option. The mainsheet is designed as a German Cupper system and is operated with Andersen winches.
The new Faurby 430 is two metres deep as standard, but various other keel variants are available. The interior is available in classic mahogany, teak or oak, with the shipyard offering a high degree of flexibility in terms of surface design and interior layout. A weight-optimised interior without heavy inner shells is standard. The boat has a total weight of a low 8.6 tonnes with a ballast of 3.3 tonnes.
In line with the shipyard slogan "Anything is possible", the interior layout can be modified, berths extended and details such as hull windows or customised solutions can be worked on. Even a higher headroom is possible; the standard headroom is around 2.00 metres. The new Faurby 430 costs from 654,924 euros (incl. VAT).
