The Cannes Yachting Festival will take place on the Côte d’Azur for six days, from Tuesday 8 September to Sunday 13 September. For sailors, the main action will once again be centred at Port Canto on the eastern side of the bay. According to the organisers, this is the world’s largest in-water exhibition for sailing boats, showcasing the latest monohull yachts and catamarans from numerous international shipyards.

The show will feature cruising yachts, performance cruisers and luxury multihulls in a wide range of size categories. These will include numerous exciting premieres. Cannes 2026 will thus remain one of the most important international venues for new sailing yachts and the latest developments in yacht building. More than 700 sailing and motor boats, ranging in length from 5 to over 50 metres, will be on display at the show, presented by over 600 international exhibitors. In addition, a large number of suppliers will be showcasing a wide range of marine products. The organisers are expecting more than 55,000 visitors from all over the world.

Fountaine Pajot FP 70

With the new FPY 70S, Fountaine Pajot is expanding its upmarket yacht range with a new 22-metre model. This large sailing catamaran is positioned above the conventional cruising range and is firmly focused on luxury, spaciousness and extensive customisation. Up to eight different layout variants are planned, featuring three to six guest cabins as well as separate areas for the crew. The outdoor spaces are particularly lavish: the huge aft cockpit flows almost seamlessly into the saloon, complemented by a spacious area on the foredeck and a large panoramic flybridge. An owner’s suite with an unusually generous living area is also planned. Despite its clear focus on luxury, the FPY 70S remains designed as a long-range yacht, featuring, amongst other things, a large solar power system, extensive battery storage and a high level of autonomy. The design is by Berret-Racoupeau Yacht Design. The new FPY 70S will make its world debut at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival.
