Area update: Big overview - what's new on the Baltic Sea coast in 2026

As always, there is news in various areas, from small but persistent problem areas such as the Kalkgrund lighthouse, which is now at least in emergency operation, to large projects such as the Fehmarnsund Tunnel and the new Warnow Bridge in Rostock, both in the public sector, to frequently improved infrastructure in the harbours along the coast.

Area update Baltic Sea coast: from west to east
