From snapshots to carefully arranged sailing scenes - we received many fantastic shots as part of the 2022 photo competition. We show the 30 best in the gallery above

These were the winning photos from the past ten years:

2012: Florian Mayr has perfectly captured the mood at the end of a long day's sailing as the crew arrives in Portoroz. Light, colour, image composition and message - everything is just right here

2015: Travelling with our friends and their new Dehler 41, we wanted to sail from Heiligenhafen to Oslo and back in three weeks in October 2014. This photo by Katrin Gruneberg was taken on the return journey between Buahamn and Varberg
