Quick help when it counts

Compared to its predecessor, the new Epirb GlobalFix V5 also transmits to AIS devices and receives a confirmation via the Return Link Service once the alarm message has been received by the rescue centre.


Foresight is better than grounding

The FLS 3D from Daniamant is a forward-looking echo sounder designed to provide a three-dimensional image of the seabed in front of the bow. This requires so-called twin transducers, i.e. two sensors, a transducer interface and the Visual Processor. The image is sent to any chart plotter via NMEA. A price for the system has not yet been set.


Good reception everywhere

Whether in harbour or at sea - the YachtSense Link 4G Marine Router generates its own on-board Wi-Fi and independently selects its sources between marina Wi-Fi and a 4G connection (dual SIM slots). A geofence function is also available. The price: 1,660 euros.


Integrating sensors into the NMEA 2000 network

The new SmartBoat gateway makes it easy to integrate old or additional sensors into an NMEA 2000 network and continue to use them on modern end devices. Each sensor can also trigger an alarm as required.


Portable power supply

The River 2 max is a portable power pack from Ecoflow. The lithium battery has a capacity of 512 watt hours and offers multiple connection options: two 220 V AC, 12 V DC and several USB-A and USB-C ports. Plus a small display. Price: from 600 euros.


More safety at night on small boats

For occasional users or emergencies, Mantus has developed a three-colour lantern that charges itself via a solar panel or can alternatively be powered via a USB connection. A plug-in holder for the boat or a holder for the cap of the outboard motor are available.
