Peli is known for its sturdy plastic boxes for storing sensitive equipment. The 8QT Personal Cooler is now designed to keep food fresh. The manufacturer promises one day of cooling thanks to the removable cooling battery in the lid. This qualifies the cooler as practical equipment on a small daysailer or to keep groceries fresh on the way from the supermarket to the boat. At 34 x 24 x 27 centimetres, the box is quite compact and, at 2.3 kilograms (empty), also a lightweight. Inside, it measures 27.4 x 16.3 x 19.1 centimetres and therefore holds around 7.5 litres. That should be enough for six to eight drinks cans. That's not a lot. A removable basket makes it easy to organise storage. The 8QT Personal Cooler also has a flat, waterproof storage compartment on the outside of the lid, which is designed to hold a tray, for example. According to the manufacturer, the closure is particularly robust. A carrying handle is integrated into the lid and there are straps on the side for a carrying strap. On board, they can be used to secure the box with a lashing strap or rubber strap.

The small cooler is available in two colours: grey-green and grey-white. It costs 94 euros.
