Contessa owners of all types in the Netherlands and Benelux joined forces 20 years ago. Next summer, the "Contessazeilers Benelux" This birthday is being celebrated with a meeting to which all yachts built by Jeremy Rogers are invited.

The aim is to have at least one of each type of the legendary Contessas on display. Since, according to the organisers, there are no Contessa 27, 33 and 39 in the Netherlands or Belgium, they are calling on owners in neighbouring countries to get in touch with the Contessazeilers Benelux.

The meeting will take place from 29 to 31 August 2025 in the Sint Annaland/Oosterschelde marina.

Jeremy Rogers (1937-2022) built various series yachts under the Contessa type designation at his shipyard in Lymington, UK, from 1966 onwards. Some of them, such as the Contessa 32, became extremely popular internationally to this day, not least due to their success in regattas, but above all due to their heavy weather characteristics. Rogers himself was a successful regatta sailor.
