Reality TV has now also conquered the world of sailing: in the web series "Mission Unknown: Atlantic", which starts today, ten influencers around Jens "Knossi" Knossalla the Atlantic in search of the ultimate adventure. The producers promise plenty of drama and action.

The video lasts less than a minute, but it's full of drama: "The sail is broken!" "No, the boat has a hole." "Emergency on the other boat, six miles away." Scenes of crew members vomiting, the boat pitching through high waves or the crew tearing at sheets follow in staccato. What looks like the trailer for a blockbuster is actually the promotional video for "Mission Unknown: Atlantic".

New challenge for streamer star Knossi

It is the latest project from YouTuber and entertainer Knossi, whose real name is Jens Heinz Richard Knossalla. He is one of the most prominent personalities in the German streaming and gaming scene. The self-proclaimed "King of the Internet" became famous through internet videos in which he filmed himself playing computer games or online poker and other games of chance. He is now the face of a McDonald's advertising campaign, among other things. He also makes regular appearances in various TV and streaming shows.

In the race across the Atlantic

His latest project starts today and is called "Mission Unknown: Atlantic". The idea behind it is easy to explain: ten celebrities compete against each other in two boats and sail across the Atlantic in ten episodes. During the journey, they have to complete various tasks. The participants have no special sailing skills or experience on the high seas, which is why experienced skippers are on board both boats.
