Many DGzRS stations will demonstrate their operational readiness on site and welcome all people who are connected to the sea rescuers and are interested in their purely donation-funded work. Demonstrations and exercises are planned in the harbours and directly off the coast, talks at the moorings of the rescue units, information vans and stands.
The varied programme includes presentations of rescue technology, man-overboard exercises and demonstrations by the rescue units. Rides are also possible on some of the stations, as far as rescue service conditions allow. The DGzRS is confident that it will once again welcome numerous guests; last year, more than 40,000 people attended.

There you can also read on which stations the day takes place on a different date due to local circumstances (such as tidal conditions or other major events).
