On 1 July, EIS European Insurance & Services GmbH (now Sealogy), the current service centre for water sports of Gothaer Versicherung in Berlin, will change from its previous exclusive agent status to that of a multiple agent or underwriting agent. Managing Director Boris Quiotek said that EIS would no longer only represent Gothaer Versicherung, but also Mannheimer Versicherung, Uniqa, Schweizer Nationale and ESA Allianz.
In particular, the company wants to expand its offering for private boat and yacht owners.
From July, there will be a choice of two forms of cover based on newly written, proprietary EIS terms and conditions. On the one hand, there will be a favourable and simple basic cover that can be supplemented with various options. In addition, premium cover will be available, including all-risk cover.
