The starter set from D-Splicer offers a solid basic set-up for rope diameters from two to eight millimetres
The starter set from D-Splicer includes the basic equipment for splicing tools. It contains splicing needles, a ceramic knife and other accessories for processing ropes with a diameter of two to eight millimetres.

The set contains all the essential tools required for splicing ropes with a diameter of 2-8 mm. In combination with the practical storage bag, the set is ideal as basic equipment for use on board or in the workshop.

Solid equipment and favourable price

The Fixed F-15 splicing needle from D-Splicer, which is designed as a wire loop, is said to be able to process cordage with a diameter of 2 to 8 millimetres. This is sufficient for rope shackles and thinner halyards.

The splicing needle is complemented by the C-20 ceramic knife, which also enables clean cuts in Dyneema. Thin splicing tape and waxed rigging twine with a diameter and a matching set of sailmaking needles round off the set. All components of the splicing tool set can be stored in the D-Pouch P-40 rigging bag supplied. With a recommended retail price of around 80 euros, the set is around 10 euros cheaper than the sum of the individual components.
