Zweibrüder launches the ZB9H, a premium headlamp with auto-focus technology. The 2,000 lumen lamp automatically adjusts the brightness and light beam and costs 109 euros.

The revitalised Zweibrüder brand from Solingen relies on Auto Focus Technology (AFT) for its ZB9H headlamp. The system continuously analyses the surroundings and automatically adjusts both the brightness and the light beam to the respective situation. This eliminates the need to manually adjust the focus or brightness. According to the manufacturer, the lamp is particularly suitable for situations in which it is often necessary to switch between the near and far ranges, for example when working in a dimly lit winter warehouse.

Ideal for winter storage work

The benefits of a high-quality headlamp are particularly evident in winter storage. The lighting in storage sheds is often inadequate, especially when boats are close together or work has to be carried out in the forecastle or engine compartment. The auto-focus technology of the ZB9H is designed to adapt automatically: Close-up work is illuminated with a wide floodlight; when looking into the distance, the lamp switches to high beam. This saves constant manual switching and enables concentrated work. In manual mode, the ZB9H is controlled via a slider on the lower lamp head. Users can switch between floodlight for close-up work and focussed high beam for longer distances with a flick of the finger. The red light mode can be activated before switching on. The maximum brightness of 2,000 lumens should provide sufficient light even in unfavourable weather conditions.

Battery at the back of the head for better balance

In contrast to many headlamps where the battery is located in the lamp head, Zweibrüder positions the powerful lithium-ion battery at the back of the head. This weight distribution is intended to significantly increase wearing comfort, especially when used for several hours. The battery is charged via USB-C. The copper cooling system dissipates heat from the LEDs, while the electronic overheating protection automatically reduces the power if necessary. This temperature regulation is designed to extend the service life of the LEDs. The ZB9H costs 109 euros and can be ordered directly from the Manufacturer ordered become.
