Never fear the big step again
Planks used as gangways are narrow and wobbly, and prefabricated passerelles are often overpriced. A compromise can be found with aluminium ladders and wooden boards

If the yacht is moored with its stern to the pier, getting on and off the boat can be a test of courage. A gangway is helpful here. However, these are usually expensive, if they come with dimensions that seem suitable for your own yacht.

An aluminium ladder is an inexpensive alternative. Fitted with a wooden plate, it provides a secure footing. The ship's end of the ladder is wrapped in neoprene to prevent scratches. Hard rubber rollers are fitted to the end of the gangway to compensate for ship movements. If required, the gangway can also be extended with a towing device and can then be raised or lowered using the dirk, for example.
