Our round trip is connected with the two harbours in Svendborg (1) and the marinas on Thurø (8) and in Troense (11). If no bikes are available, they can be hired from "Cykeltutten" on Frederiksø.

We set off from the circular Svendborg marina over to the town harbour, where at "Lolo" (2) delicious sandwiches are served. In case of rain, the modern natural history museum "Naturama" (3) which is also exciting for children. More about the beautiful "Christiansminde Sti" (4) directly on the water. There is a family-friendly beach nearby (5) with a view of the Sund. We then cycle over a causeway to Thurø. In the island village of the same name, don't miss the church (6) visit. Inside, you can marvel at elaborate carvings, a historic altar and a votive ship. Afterwards you can visit the Thurø brewery (7) tasting exceptional beers. Smørmosen" (9) is reached via a country road and through a small forest. The beach, where there is an imaginative mini golf course, a playground, barbecue bar and ice cream parlour at the nearby campsite.

We continue the tour through the countryside on a country road to the ferry terminal in Grasten (10). From there, take the historic steamer "M/S Helge" to the neighbouring island of Tåsinge. Directly opposite the landing stage in Troense (11) is the hotel and restaurant of the same name. The route continues over gravel through a dense forest, which is wonderfully cool in summer, to Vindeby and past the marina there. Soon afterwards we cycle to the large bridge over the sound (12). Linger a while at the top, the view of the boats and across the Svendborg Sound is unique. From here we cycle back to the harbour.
