Useful in everyday life in other countries: The app uses a camera function to translate almost anything at lightning speed, from menus and harbour notices to complete magazines - not always perfect, but usually understandable. A similar app is Deepl, but its translator only works with photos instead of live images and can handle far fewer languages. If you do without character recognition and type out the text, you can achieve very good results with Deepl.
Komoot
Whether by bike or on foot, when it comes to exploring the area around the berth, the community-based Komoot app is there to help. It provides location-based tour suggestions along with a map display with Open Street Map. The descriptions are accompanied by photos so that you can get an impression of the hike in advance.
