Denmark relaxes corona rules for Germans
A negative test is now only necessary when entering Denmark, the further obligation to test on site after a maximum of 24 hours will no longer apply from 26 June

Good news for the start of the holidays in many German federal states: "From next Saturday, 26 June, Denmark will further downgrade Germany's entry requirements due to the low number of coronavirus cases," says Jesper Højenvang from the Association of Danish Marinas. This means: "You only have to carry a current negative test when entering the country. Previously, you had to take a test on entry and then be tested again on site a maximum of 24 hours after entering the country."

People who have already been fully vaccinated - i.e. both doses plus a 14-day period - can generally enter the country without a test. The same applies to those who have recovered and have not been infected for more than six months. Written proof must be carried for both cases.

The second test was a logistical problem for many crews calling at small island harbours, which sometimes could only be solved by the new video self-test (more details in the YACHT report here ).

An overview of the complete regulations can be found on the official Danish website for entry in English here.
