Royal Huisman builds 81-metre schooner | er
The shipyard from Vollenhove will soon be filling its halls with an 81-metre three-master, which was commissioned by a customer from Asia. His briefing was: "Build me my dream yacht."
Mark Whiteley Design (styling/interior) and Dykstra Naval Architects (styling/construction) are responsible for the design realisation of Project 400. The masts will have a Panamax limit, Rondal will manufacture them. As usual, Royal Huisman will use aluminium for the hull, and the three-masted schooner will be classified with Large Yacht Code 3. Twelve guests can travel on board, and a crew of 13 will take care of servicing and taming the large sail area. Expected delivery: in 2020.
