Light 21 metres from Finland

The Finnish composite specialists are aiming for a total weight of 24.2 tonnes for the almost 21 metre long custom order, with eight tonnes falling on the 3.85 metre fixed keel. On regatta courses or delivery cruises, the Baltic 68 will carry 274 square metres of sail laminate on the carbon mast upwind and 610 square metres downwind. A captive winch hoists the mainsail tightly, while a double rudder system reduces the forces on the steering wheel. There are two crew cabins forward, two double cabins for guests amidships and the owner's area aft.
