With 55,000 visitors, ten per cent more water sports, camping, outdoor and fishing fans were counted than in the previous year. In a total of 16 halls with a combined area of 90,000 square metres, 850 exhibitors from the four different leisure sectors presented their new products and provided information on current trends.
With OutVenture Berlin, we have succeeded in combining the strengths of our individual trade fairs and creating an inspiring overall experience," says Daniel Barkowski, Project Manager of OutVenture Berlin. The visitor interest shows that the need for active leisure activities, experiencing nature and being outdoors is growing.
For many exhibitors, particularly of smaller and motorised boats, Boot & Fun and its trade fair location in Berlin is an advantage, as it is situated in the "heart of Europe's largest inland and water sports area", according to the trade fair company's closing statement. Visitors were presented with an "impressive variety of brands and models".
From luxury yachts to houseboats and from SUPs to sailing yachts, the entire spectrum of modern water sports was on display. World premieres such as the BALT 950 and the "Laura" solar boat from SYC Gawlowski were among the highlights of the exhibition. Innovative models such as the SeaStorm 17 Advantage, the Parker 780 Escape, the new VTS Flying Sharks from PureVolt Yachts and the elegant LASAI solar yachts also attracted attention.
Many other boat and accessory manufacturers, some of them large, were also represented. These included Beneteau, Jeanneau, Quicksilver, Marex, Linssen, X-Shore, Parker Boats, Alumacraft, Suzuki and Torqeedo.
The trade fair quotes Catina Burchardi, assistant to the management of Aqua Marin Boote & Yachten, as evidence of the good mood. She said: "On the very first day, we sold a yacht to a customer with whom we had no previous contact. There's no better way to start a trade fair." In addition, the date of Boot & Fun is perfect, as water sports enthusiasts are already looking forward to the new season.
According to the trade fair organisers, Angelwelt 2025 was particularly successful, impressively confirming its role as Europe's leading fishing trade fair and enjoying its most successful edition since it was founded in 2007. With international exhibitors, well-known fishing stars and a varied programme, it once again attracted large numbers of visitors.
After a record number of exhibitors was set last year, this year's Angelwelt once again surpassed this with an increase in exhibitors of around 20 per cent. The final press release states: "Angelwelt 2025 was more international than ever before: over 250 national and international exhibitors and brands from countries such as Brazil, China, Finland, Japan, the Maldives, Mongolia, Sweden and the USA presented their innovations, which met with great interest from the public.
According to the initial results of a survey conducted by the trade fair organisers on the new mix concept, nine out of ten visitors said they were "satisfied" or even "very satisfied" with the event. In addition to boats and water sports, the camping, caravanning and fishing segments were particularly popular. Almost one in two visitors attended the event for the first time. And nine out of ten visitors are planning to return next year. OutVenture Berlin will then take place again from 26 to 29 November under the radio tower on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds.
