YACHT
· 23.03.2026
The attraction lies not only in the winnings. The survey asks what actually characterises water sports: Which yacht is sailed or chartered? How much is invested in the hobby? Which shipyards and equipment suppliers enjoy particular trust? This provides a more precise picture of the scene and the preferences, priorities and purchasing habits of our readers.

The main prize is a sailing trip for two people on the "Sea Cloud Spirit". From 14 to 19 April 2027, it will sail from Casablanca via Tangier and Cádiz to Málaga. Included are five nights in a double cabin in category D. There are also prizes that are much closer to the everyday lives of many sailors: a folding bike for shore leave, a boat hook for secure mooring, a gimbal-mounted cooker, life jackets for more demanding missions, handheld radios, bags, lights and other accessories. The selection is broad, but not arbitrary. It pretty much covers the topics that count on board and when travelling.
A good reader survey is more than just a form. It shows how the readership moves: whether on their own keel or on charter, which brands they have had good experiences with and where they are willing to invest money in equipment, comfort or safety. Those who take part not only have the chance to win high-quality prizes, but also help to make the needs and interests of the scene more clearly visible.
The results are very valuable for us as editors. They show us more precisely which topics, products and developments our readers are particularly interested in, what they value when sailing and on board and where priorities are changing. From this, we can derive important insights to make our content, tests, services and offers even more relevant, useful and targeted to the interests of our readership.
Participation is online. It only takes a few minutes to take part, you could win one of the prizes on offer and at the same time help to paint an up-to-date picture of the water sports community. It's easy to enter:
