"Traditional Watercraft, Inc.", the US manufacturer of Island Packet yachts, which are less well-known in Europe, has a new trading partner in Spain.
The Barcelona-based Ocean Cruising Group is now responsible for the distribution and presentation of the modern long keelers throughout the Mediterranean region.
The Spanish agency, which was previously mainly active on the charter market, is the third branch of "Traditional Watercraft, Inc." in Europe. There are currently other agencies in Holland and on the south coast of England.
Island packet yachts are considered to be robust, solid vessels for worldwide voyages. They are characterised by their ivory-coloured gelcoat and classic American boat design features such as a far-forward superstructure with stainless steel window frames and cutter rigging.
