The fair takes place in the harbour of Hallberg-Rassy in Ellös and opens its doors to the public again this year with a record attendance. A total of 124 sailing and motor boats will be on display, including many exciting new products. This represents an increase of over 50 per cent compared to last year's fair. In the shipyard of trade fair organiser Hallberg-Rassy, all of the brand's current models can also be viewed during the construction process, including three brand new boats of the type Hallberg-Rassy 370. The opportunity to experience modern boatbuilding live at Hallberg-Rassy is one of the special features of the trade fair on Orust.
The Öppet Varv (Open Yard) trade fair traditionally attracts visitors from all over the world and offers a comprehensive overview of current trends and developments in boat building. In addition to the boats on display, numerous exhibitors present boat-related services and equipment. For bargain hunters, there are several large outlets with favourable offers on marine clothing and equipment.
The trade fair programme includes various activities for visitors of all ages and experience levels. Live music will provide entertainment on Friday and Saturday evenings. A special salmon dinner is planned for Saturday, for which separate registration is required. Interested parties can also register for a lecture on blue water sailing on 23 August 2025 via the event website. For sailing beginners and children in particular, the RS Sailing brand will be offering test rides on dinghies under the guidance of instructors - even for people with no sailing experience. Various food trucks will provide a wide range of refreshments.
Admission to the trade fair and parking in the trade fair's own car park are free of charge.
