From Tuesday, 9 September to Sunday, 14 September, the leading Inwater trade fair will take place for six days on the Côte d'Azur. More than 700 sailing and motor boats from 5 to over 50 metres in length will be on display at the trade fair, presented by over 600 international exhibitors. A large number of equipment suppliers will also be presenting a wide range of maritime products. The trade fair organisers are expecting more than 55,000 visitors from all over the world. The sailing yachts and sailing catamarans will once again be moored in Port Canto on the east side of the bay.
Ambitious line extension at Balance Catamarans in South Africa. The new flagship Balance 580 is making its world debut at the trade fair in Cannes. The catamaran has a very performance-orientated basic design.
The new model is based on the larger flagship Bali 5.8 and is characterised by an unusual variety of different versions for owners as well as for charter use. Click here for the detailed presentation at YACHT Online.
The new trimaran from Quorning Boats in Denmark shows the YACHT test strong sailing characteristics and high performance potential. But the boat also impresses with many other exciting details.
The young and sporty Excess concept features an aft deck design with double helm stations. The new model fills the gap between the Excess 11 and 14 models and is available with three or four cabins. The detailed presentation.
Compact format, maximum volume. With the New 41 (working title), Fountaine Pajot has built an interesting competitor for the coveted entry-level class of cruising catamarans. The current test at YACHT Online.
And yet another new launch from Fountaine Pajot in Cannes. The New 44 comes as a replacement for the successfully sold Elba 45, but is slightly larger and now comes with a flybridge lounge on top. The new cat from the French company celebrates its world premiere in Cannes. The presentation at YACHT Online.
The new entry-level model in the extensive Lagoon Catamarans programme makes its debut in Cannes. The particularly voluminous hulls allow a layout with the large owner's cabins in the foredeck. The performance.
The long-serving Leopard 45 is getting a successor. The new cat from Robertson & Caine in South Africa now features a sun lounge on the flybridge, a larger front cockpit and up to five cabins inside. The test will soon be published in YACHT. Click here for the presentation.
If you haven't seen this boat, you've missed out. The extremely unconventional, almost exotic ship concept comes from the Cataruga shipyard. The exciting cat is built in Tunisia, completely out of aluminium. The photo gallery of the test at YACHT online.
Multihull boats made of aluminium are rare, and those made of recycled aluminium anyway. With the innovative R5, the Dutch company Vaan Yachts is further expanding its range of sustainably manufactured catamarans. YACHT has already tested the exciting catamaran.
