Last week, the Yachting Festival in Cannes once again proved its importance as Europe's leading inwater trade fair.

With a total of over 600 exhibitors, 710 boats on display and 55,000 visitors, the event on the Côte d'Azur is one of the most important European boat shows alongside Boot Düsseldorf, which takes place in January. Among the Inwater shows, Cannes is by far the largest event in Europe. As in the previous year, the trade fair took place in two neighbouring harbours. Sailing yachts, catamarans and smaller motorboats were exhibited in Port Canto on the east side of the bay. In the Vieux Port, right in the centre of the city of Cannes, the manufacturers of motor yachts and superyachts were guests, as well as many suppliers on the harbour forecourt.

The evening event organised by our magazines YACHT, BOOTE and BOOTE Exclusiv u was a premiere. In cooperation with yacht insurer Pantaenius, the publishing house Delius-Klasing hosted an after-show reception on Wednesday evening. Around one hundred invited guests responded to the call of our magazines and spent an evening with sundowners in front of the breathtaking view of the sunset over the Vieux Port.

Exciting premieres again this year

There were a large number of new sailing yachts and catamarans on show at Port Canto this year. We have briefly summarised the most important premieres below. You can also see the first photos of each boat in the large gallery above.
