It caused a furore even before its world premiere at boot - the new First 30 from the world market leader. Like all smaller models in the sporty First series, the new, exciting crossover boat is also built at Seascape in Slovenia. The First 30 now closes the gap between the First 27 and the First 36. Despite its great performance potential and gliding ability, Sam Manuard's design also offers everything you need for touring sailing below deck.

Championship Yachts
The Austrians have modified their sporty Lago 26 and present it as a Lago 26 Speedster before. To achieve this, the shipyard has reduced the size of the cabin and moved the position of the rig aft so that a self-tacking jib can be installed. In addition, the bowsprit is now permanently mounted. The boats in the Lago series are built by the Mader boatyard. The Lago 26 Speedster celebrates its world premiere on the Rhine.

Domani Yachts
The still young brand from Belgium has brought out a customised daysailer that sails very finely and scores points with many loving details (test YACHT 13/2023). The construction of the beautiful and slim Domani S32 Lounge was designed by Peter Bosgraaf in Holland. The cockpit is clearly divided into three sections: the forward guest area, the working cockpit with the two steering columns and the aft deck with large sunbeds. The interior layout with berths for up to four people is sufficient for use as a weekender.

Nautor Swan
With the new one-design racer ClubSwan 28 the Finnish yacht manufacturer is building the smallest ship in the history of the shipyard. The concept is aimed at young and young-at-heart sailors who want to actively sail in an exciting one-design class but want to do without the extensive effort (large crew, lots of organisation, high costs). As with all current models in the ClubSwan range, the design of the small ClubSwan 28 comes from the studio of Argentinean Juan Kouyoumdjian (Juan K Yacht Design). The L-shaped keel with ballast bomb can be raised, the rudder blade is attached to the stern and can be easily removed. This means that the boat lies low on the trailer, which is an advantage for road transport and assembly on land.

Neptune Yachts
The daysailer developed by the German shipyard Neptun Yachten and boat dealer Henry Jacobs Milan 22 is designed to appeal to beginners, families and sailing students. The 6.60 metre boat cannot really be categorised as a small cruiser, as it lacks a cabin suitable for touring. Instead, the boat offers a large cockpit, which can be extended with a cockpit tent on request.

The manufacturer of inflatable sailing boats from Brittany is presenting its latest and largest model for the first time at the trade fair in Düsseldorf. Tiwal 2XL as a world premiere. The new fun vehicle was designed for the whole family and can be dismantled and stowed away in two bags in the boot of the car and taken anywhere.

VX Sailing / Ovington Boats
The pleasure booster for the sporty planing dinghy market comes from New Zealand from VX Sailing. The sales partner Ovington Boats in England shows the VX two as a European premiere. The boat is similar to the VX One sports boat, but is smaller and has a centreboard instead of a keel, as well as a carbon fibre mast and a bowsprit for the gennaker.

Ziegelmeyer / RS Sailing
With the new RS Cat 12 the British shipyard RS Sailing presents a beach catamaran for beginners, children and young people. The small, lightweight multihull can be sailed single-handed with a furling jib or in pairs with full sails and a trapeze. The RS Cat 12 offers a high level of stability. Should the cat nevertheless capsize, the sealed mast and a buoyancy chamber in the top prevent it from capsizing.
