The shipyard, which is now based in Greifswald, is launching a new Judel/Vrolijk design that can be modified for the regatta course

The new Dehler is available with three keel variants: T-shaped appendages with a draught of 2.25 or a sporty 2.70 metres or the L-shaped cruising version with a draught of 1.85 metres. The full-length twin-saloon rig can be ordered in aluminium or carbon. In regatta mode, the heavy fold-out bathing platform is no longer required. A lighter interior is also possible.

The boat is designed to work according to the ORCi handicap formula in particular, but also according to other equalisation systems such as IRC. It will thus follow in the footsteps of the extremely successful Dehler 38, which was presented in the spring (test in YACHT 8/13). The ship won the title of German Sailing Champion, was honoured as Yacht of the Year in France and the USA and has also been nominated for the most important industry title, Europe's Yacht of the Year (final results will be announced at boot Düsseldorf).

The Dehler 46 is due to be launched in the summer, with an introductory price of 26,000 euros including VAT.
