The sports boat concept from Switzerland aims to inspire regatta sailors, beginners and match race professionals alike. A committed endeavour

The Swiss company Sailbox aims to station 60 Mocean boats on Swiss lakes and on waters abroad in the medium term. It's called boat sharing - sharing instead of owning, using instead of cleaning.

The Mocean has been designed and built with an unusually wide range of applications in mind. That's the concept. Accordingly, it is full of compromises: It should be sporty and comfortable to sail. It should appeal to active sailors as well as beginners. The Mocean should deliver high performance, but still be easy and safe to manoeuvre. A demanding requirement profile.

During the YACHT test on Lake Constance, the manoeuvrable all-rounder actually gave a pretty impressive demonstration of its performance spectrum.
