The hull and deck are built at Cantiere Zuanelli as GRP sandwich constructions with epoxy resin and a foam core using the vacuum infusion process. In addition, carbon fibre reinforcements are incorporated at highly stressed points in the keel area, the rudder shafts and the shrouds. The sporty T-shaped keel is made of stainless steel and is supplemented with a lead bomb. The draught is two metres.
What is exciting is the high degree of versatility of the concept. The designers at Felci Yacht Design have set up the standard boat as a typical performance cruiser. This means: sheet winches for the mainsail and genoa on the coaming, halyards and trim lines at the front on both sides of the companionway. The boat is also equipped with a traveller on the cockpit floor and a simple tiller steering system. This version is offered under the type designation Z36 Sport.
The GT version, with its Mediterranean orientation, is aimed more at sporty touring sailors. The boat is equipped with double helm stations with wheels and benches, a teak deck and a larger bathing platform. The Z36 Explorer version is ultimately designed to meet the requirements of blue water sailors and is equipped with a solid tarp bracket with traveller rail above the cockpit and a flexible hardtop. The boat will also be fitted with a cutter stay for longer passages in windy conditions. However, these three versions are not planned as stand-alone models or fixed equipment packages. Rather, they are different interpretations of the same project that can be freely combined according to the buyer's wishes.
A classic layout with two double cabins and a large wet room aft is planned for the interior. Cantiere Zuanelli plans to start laying the keel for construction number one in January 2026. The yacht builders in Italy have also already given an initial price estimate: the base price is expected to be 290,000 euros, not including VAT.
