The renowned Swedish shipyard is once again focussing on more compact sizes and is expanding its range in the conventional model segment

While the Swedish company's mid-cockpit yacht segment comprises five boats from 40 to 69 feet, the aft-cockpit yachts have so far only included the shipyard's entry-level model, the 340, and a 400. Now the new 370 expands the programme with a yacht in a popular size. Of course, the new Hallberg-Rassy is also a design by the legendary Argentinean German Frers, who is also usually in charge of the Nautor's Swan cruising range and has been responsible for Hallberg-Rassy since 1988.

The new Hallberg-Rassy also fits smoothly into the shipyard programme. A fixed bowsprit, fairly straight hull ends, a slight deck step, the almost constant width aft, the relatively high superstructure and the fixed cockpit windscreen are typical features of the yachts, "which are available in any colour, as long as they are blue and white", according to the uncompromising shipyard founder Christoph Rassy, who died in 2021.

Variants in saloon and foredeck

His son Magnus Rassy has been modernising the shipyard and the product range since 2003 and has continued to do so very successfully; the last and very big success was the Hallberg-Rassy 69, star of boot Düsseldorf 2024. Now the more compact 370. The boat is consequently only available with two cabins; the only variation is in the foredeck, where an island bed or one across the full width is available, and in the saloon, where the customer can choose between a sofa or two armchairs instead. As an option, light-coloured European oak can be ordered instead of classic Khaya mahogany. The wet room at the companionway is equipped with a separate shower and an oil cabinet. In addition to the standard refrigerator, an additional front-loader or top-loader cool box is available on request, and a dishwasher is also possible.

Premiere at the shipyard trade fair

The 370 is equipped with double wheels and double rudder blades. There is a fixed or a mobile cockpit table, the boat is offered with bow and stern thruster, a special feature in this size. The traveller works in front of the cockpit pulpit, the genoa rails lie on the coachroof for a better sheeting angle, a self-tacking jib is possible.

The construction number 1 will be presented to the public for the first time during the "Open Shipyard" trade fair from 22 to 24 August 2025 in Ellös on the island of Orust in western Sweden. More about the event on the Hallberg-Rassy website (Still being updated, information currently with reference to 2024). The Hallberg-Rassy 370 costs from 469,825 incl. VAT at the current exchange rate.
