Surprisingly, the trimaran experts from Quorning Boats in Denmark have won the Dragonfly 36 announced as a new product for 2025 and are now presenting the fast tripod as a world premiere at the trade fair in Düsseldorf. The tri is offered in two versions, as a touring version with a straightforward layout for easy handling and as a performance boat with a higher rig, more sail area and better trimming facilities. The Dragonfly 36 features two helm stations in the cockpit and, of course, the floats on the new boat can also be swivelled to reduce the width of the harbour.

A new addition to the Cantiere del Pardo programme is daysailing. In addition, the Grand Soleil Blue will now be the smallest boat in the current line. The name "Blue" stands for the colour of the sea and the shipyard's efforts towards sustainability. The boat is made from environmentally friendly and recyclable composite materials. Matteo Polli's design is primarily aimed at use with a small crew or single-handed.

In addition to the new Blue, the Italian yacht builders have a second premiere in store for the trade fair in Düsseldorf. The new Grand Soleil 52 adopts the concept of its smaller sisters 40, 44 and 48 and is also available in two versions. The Performance version with a single-handed layout is standard. The Race version is designed for ambitious sports sailors with a regatta-orientated cockpit layout.

The American brand has launched a new ship for the popular twelve-metre class. With the J/40 the shipyard has achieved a good compromise between sporty sailing characteristics and high living comfort below deck. Designer Alan Johnstone has given his youngest the typical J shapes with a relatively slim stern and beautiful, graceful lines. The boat is built by J Composites in France.

The new retro classic Eagle 46 from Leonardo Yachts in the Netherlands was developed by Hoek Design and features a modern, high-performance underwater plan with deep, slim appendages. Above the waterline, the beautiful, slender design with the wide hull overhangs is striking.

As a racer, the Club Swan 43 The boat fulfils all performance expectations, as it impressively demonstrated in the YACHT test. The layout on deck is specifically designed for active racing. But the boat is also beautifully and cosily furnished below deck.

With a new project, the Danish shipyard is returning to its sporting roots and presenting the XR 41 a new boat for another shipyard line. X-Yachts has specifically tailored the design to optimise the ORC rating. However, the XR 41 is not only intended to be a pure racing boat, but also a sporty cruising boat. To take this into account, parts of the interior are constructed in modules that can be removed for regattas and quickly reinstalled for touring. The XR 41 is also available in two versions: Race and Sport.
