Simply get on board and set off - entering the world of sailing can be so uncomplicated. Bavaria Yachts is launching its most successful sailing yachts on the market in a new Signature Edition. The concept of the new marketing measure: no more long option lists and complicated equipment decisions. Instead, the Bavaria Cruiser 34, Cruiser 37 and Cruiser 46 are available fully equipped at a fixed price.

Bavaria's bestseller in a new design

The Bavaria Cruiser 34, 37 and 46 are among the top sellers among the sailing yachts from Bavaria Yachts - thousands of these models have already been built. For the new Signature Edition, the shipyard has analysed, combined and optimised the most popular equipment options.

"Immediate clarity in the standard equipment instead of a complex selection of options, for real added value for the owner," says Bavaria CEO Norbert Leifeld, explaining the concept. "Customers should have it as easy as possible when buying a Bavaria Yachts Signature Edition - and get everything from a single source, namely from their Bavaria partner."

Rolling mast or sports mast - the choice remains

The most striking feature of the Cruiser Signature Edition: the Seldén furling mast as standard equipment. A logical decision, according to the shipyard, as over 90 per cent of all Bavaria sailing yacht owners choose a furling mast as an option. The furling mast is designed to simplify setting, recovering and reefing, making manoeuvres easier for beginners and charter customers alike.

But purists don't have to do without: Alternatively, the conventional sports mast including lazy bags can be selected at no extra cost. This freedom of choice in the basic sail configuration is retained, while the rest of the equipment is fixed.

Modern navigation as standard

The Signature Edition's standard equipment includes the latest navigation electronics from Brookes & Gatehouse - a name that is synonymous with quality and reliability in the sailing world. The package includes a chart plotter for navigation, instrument displays for monitoring all sailing-related data, VHF radio with AIS for communication and an autopilot with remote control. The autopilot with remote control in particular makes single-handed sailing or fast manoeuvres considerably easier and is also an added convenience for full crews.

More power and light-coloured wood

Bavaria also opts for the preferred engine variant: the more powerful engine, which is otherwise available at extra cost, is already included in the Signature Edition. Below deck you will find a modern design: warm and light-coloured Nordic Oak wood creates a friendly, inviting atmosphere. The easy-care floor in elm is not only visually appealing, but also practical for everyday life on board.

Sophisticated details

Stainless steel mooring cleats, fenders and mooring lines are included so that you can cast off immediately after delivery. Teak on the seat thwarts and the cockpit floor provides a maritime look and a non-slip, comfortable surface.

A large cockpit table is central for socialising on deck - whether it's breakfast in the bay or a sundowner after a day's sailing. Stainless steel grab handles increase safety in rough seas. Reading lamps with USB ports on each bunk combine tradition with modernity - reading in bed and charging your smartphone at the same time. Mosquito nets on the windows are essential for a restful night's sleep with the hatches open, especially in southern climes.

Price, financing and insurance

With a complete price of 178,500 euros including 19 per cent VAT for the Bavaria Cruiser 34 SE, the shipyard wants to set new standards. This price includes all the equipment described above with no hidden costs.

In co-operation with AKF Bank, Bavaria offers attractive financing from as little as 999 euros per month. This allows German and Dutch owners to conserve their reserves and still get their own Bavaria more quickly. An additional advantage: the insurance broker Pantaenius includes the so-called propulsion clause free of charge when taking out hull insurance. This protects against damage to the propeller, shaft and drive - a safeguard that can be worth its weight in gold, especially in unfamiliar waters or in the event of grounding.

"A maximally simple purchase process from the boat to financing and insurance - that's important to us," says CEO Norbert Leifeld, emphasising the overall concept.
