Allures Yachting presented the new Horizon 47 as a new build project at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025. The boat combines a round bilge aluminium hull with an integral canting keel and a GRP deck. Five units have apparently already been sold before the official presentation, with delivery of build number one planned for October 2026. The shipyard has also already named a base price: the Horizon 47, which is already fully equipped to a high standard ex shipyard, will cost 984,270 euros, gross including 19 per cent VAT.
The design introduces many new and very innovative design elements with the "Horizon Frame" concept. The boat will clearly break away from the previous Allures standard. It now comes with a hardtop and a fixed windscreen. The side running decks are also recessed between the cabin superstructure and the hull. This enables a kind of walkaround design with steps onto the raised foredeck - an unusual, but also extremely promising and unconventional arrangement. The recessed side gangways not only enable easy and safe passageways, but also allow the cabin superstructure to be designed with unusually large side windows. These are no less than 80 centimetres high and, together with the panoramic window in front of the mast, ensure maximum transparency in the saloon.
Isabelle Racoupeau designed the interior of the Horizon 47. The saloon is designed as a real lounge, with a low table that can be raised to dining height. The L-shaped galley occupies a central position at the front of the main bulkhead and is complemented by a kitchen island. The double seat at the chart table, which is characteristic of Allures yachts, also serves as a workstation or a comfortable sofa with table. Aft, the boat can be fitted with one or two spacious double cabins. Depending on the layout, owners have the option of using the space on the port side as a large storage area or workshop on long journeys. The shipyard is flexible in terms of feasibility. A spacious island bed is provided in the foredeck. As an option, the owner's cabin in the foredeck can also be fitted with an additional bathroom, either with or without a separate shower area.
The cockpit of the Horizon 47 is very well protected by the high coamings and the rigid windscreen with hardtop. All halyards, sheets and trim lines are led back to the helm stations. At anchor, the aft platform transforms into a versatile and open lounge. Convertible loungers create a relaxation area directly on the water, protected from the wind. The large, two-part table in the cockpit provides a wide, unobstructed passageway from the companionway to the helm station, the side decks or the aft platform. The standard sail plan provides for a large overlapping genoa in combination with a stay jib. However, there is no provision for a self-tacking device for the headsail.
