The organising crew of the Freundeskreis Klassische Yachten promises a colourful bouquet full of adventurous, interesting and cultural contributions to the guests who will be admitted to the Miralles Saal of the Hamburg Youth Music School at Mittelweg 42 from 6 pm. There will be plenty of room for a chat as well as a culinary and music programme. Interested guests are also welcome, admission is free and registration is not required.
Although the symposium during the day, which will feature high-calibre speakers, can only be attended by registration and for an entrance fee, it will be broadcast virtually and is therefore also open to all interested parties. The topics of yacht construction, wooden boat building and restoration will be explored in depth in various presentations.
In the evening, the classic ship community can look forward to the traditional winter meeting with interesting lectures, picture presentations and reports on small and large ships, sea voyages and events that will arouse anticipation for the coming season.
A highlight will be the presentation by Charlotte Hellman from Sweden, who will talk about the 12mR yacht "Princess Svanevit". Last summer's Classic Week will also be a topic and many other guests, films, prizes, poetry, music and more can be expected.
Participation is free of charge and open to everyone; membership of the Freundeskreis Klassische Yachten is not required, nor is registration.
