Classic Week 2024 - Impressions from the Dyvig

After the night regatta "The Run", which led to Åbenrå in Denmark, the fleet of around 200 classic yachts set off for a race in Dyvig on Monday. Here, Bent Larsen and his family warmly welcomed and entertained them in their harbour in front of the "Badehotel"

After a day focussing on safety, during which we learnt a lot about the subject in various presentations, we set off on Tuesday on an exciting long-distance route via Augustenborg Fjord and Alsen Sound past Sønderborg to Høruphav. Our Photographer Nico Krauss was there with the camera.

Today, Wednesday, the fleet set off to race in different groups. The large yachts, including three twelve-boats, sailed on a course to the tip of Flensburg harbour and back, the smaller ones to Langballigau, and for the open keelboats and dinghies an up-and-down course was set off Høruphav.
