The app makes it easy to access all of the digital information offered by the Friends of Classic Yachts (FKY) can be accessed in one place. There is a calendar for events and regattas with direct links to the organisers, their locations and the registration pages. Special events such as the German Classics or the Winter Meeting have their own section, which is closely linked to event websites.
The app function "Meet your friends" in the "Friends" section offers FKY members a special service for which the smartphone is predestined: a location overview of the events as a zoomable map, a chat portal and a geo-tracking module in which users can display their position as a yacht - all optional and voluntary under full user control.
