The shipyard only kept the centre hull, gave it a new forecastle deck and completely renewed the floats. They are now designed as wave piercers and provide much more buoyancy, which, along with width, is the decisive criterion for the stability of a trimaran. The Tri, which can be trailered because it is foldable, is available as a demonstration boat from the dealer Mittelmanns Werft, which also offers special products with its other programme of yachts from Sunbeam and J Boats. The 7.40 metre long Tri costs 82,000 euros from Kappeln.
