The catamarans are built by Aventura in Tunisia. The up-and-coming shipyard recently put a completely new production facility into operation. The shipyard was previously represented on the market with the Aventura 37, as well as two motorised catamarans. The models Aventura 34 (Test YACHT 14/2018) and the Aventura 44 are no longer being built. The programme is now being supplemented with the new Aventura 45. The design features voluminous hull shapes that taper significantly towards the waterline with striking chine edges and strikingly large windows in the freeboard and deckhouse. The rig is positioned comparatively far back on the cabin superstructure. The overlapping genoa with hollow points on the coachroof is standard, and a self-tacking jib is not provided as an option.
The helm station is raised to the side on the port side and also at a clear distance from the winches on the coachroof, where all halyards, sheets and trim lines converge and are operated from a central point. This keeps the access to the flybridge lounge clear both from the outside cockpit and via the side decks. And: during manoeuvres, there is enough space for both the helmsman and the crew to work. Up to 12 people can sit comfortably in a cosy group around the huge table in the outer cockpit.
The layout concept of the Aventura 45 provides for enormous variety. Layouts with three, four, five or six cabins are possible, plus a maximum of four heads compartments, each with a shower option. What's more, additional berths for the skipper(s) can be integrated into the bow on request. This range of options is new in the 45-foot hull length class. Moreover, depending on the configuration version, the aft owner's cabins can also be accessed directly from the cockpit via separate entrances. All possible layout variants and combinations are shown in the photo gallery above.
The first Aventura 45 boat celebrated its premiere at the Yachting Festival in Cannes just a few weeks ago. The basic price ex shipyard is 689,000 euros (gross incl. 19% VAT) for the boat, which is largely ready to sail. The Aventura brand is marketed in Germany by the company Cat Sale represented by Klaus Tietze in Bremen.
